Below is an example of what your hero narrative should look like when completed. The narrative below contains each step of the hero's journey.
Below is a copy of the rubric I will be using to grade your End of Unit 2 Assessment. We will be discussing this group in class so that you are aware of the expectations for the assignment and know exactly how to score a perfect grade. If you lose your copy from class you can always refer to the rubric below to guide your own writing.
If you did not finish the first draft of your mini essay in class, you must finish it for homework. Below is an example of what your finished product needs to look like. Use your graphic organizer.
Use the video below to help clarify the meaning of allusion. This video can be used to assist you with the homework that asks you to compare the story of Cronus to The Lightning Thief. I am also attaching a copy of "The Myth of Cronus" in the classroom text section of this website.
The first video below is the one we watched in class, it breaks down the steps of the hero archetype's journey. The second video shows examples of the different stages using Disney movies that you may be more familiar with.
